Parent help is needed at swim practices on Tuesdays to put away lane lines, backstroke flags, and blocks.  

All new Team families are strongly encouraged to attend this New Family Information Session to help make the season as enjoyable for you and your family as possible.  The session will be led by seasoned Penguins families and will cover:

Parent help is needed daily at swim practices to put in lane lines, backstroke flags, and blocks, and to put away all items at the end of practice (except for Monday nights--items can be left in for Tuesday morning practices).  

Each year, the Penguins launch the summer season by marching in the Newport Memorial Day Parade!  All Team members and their families are encouraged to attend.  Be sure to wear sunscreen, Penguins gear or colors, and comfortable walking shoes.  Prior to the parade, we have a Team breakfast while we get set-up.  The parade route heads down 6th Street to Monmouth, then down Monmouth to 10th where the parade ends, and then all walk back to 6th and York to get their cars.  Please sign up to donate candy for the kids to toss, food items for the Team breakfast, or for your car/truck to drive in the parade.
