Newport Memorial Day Parade 2026
6th and York in Newport (Kroger)

Each year, the Penguins launch the summer season by marching in the Newport Memorial Day Parade! All Team members and their families are encouraged to attend. Be sure to wear sunscreen, Penguins gear or colors, and comfortable walking shoes. Prior to the parade, we have a Team breakfast while we get set-up in the lot of Kroger 6th and York. The parade route heads down 6th Street to Monmouth, then down Monmouth to 10th where the parade ends, and then all walk back to 6th and York to get their cars. Please sign up to donate candy for the kids to toss, food items for the Team breakfast, or for your car/truck to drive in the parade. |

All divers and swimmers and their families are invitedto the 2025 end of season banquet and pool party!!! The agenda for the evening is:
No competitive diving experience required for parents to participate in the diving competition, because dives are scored for things like splash size, uniqueness, etc. It’s always a season highlight! Parents bring their suits for the pool party and sign up for the Parent Diving Competition during the banquet. Dinner is once again generously sponsored by Pompilio’s! To get an accurate number for dinner, families must RSVP by opting in to the Banquet no later than July 19th, and be sure to list the number of people in your party. Please also sign up for bringing desserts, decorations, etc. |

Thursday, July 24, 2025 Afternoon Prelims for 12 & U only Penguins warm-up at 11:50a until 12:15p. Worker/Officials Meeting at 12:15p. Meet starts at 12:30p. Thursday, July 24, 2025 Evening Prelims 13 & O Penguins warm-up 5:50p until 6:15p Workers/ Officials meeting at 6:00p Senior Recognition 6:15p Meet starts at 6:30p Friday, July 25, 2025 Scratch Meeting for coaches at 2:50p Workers/Officials Meeting at 3:30p Penguins warm-up at 3:10p until 3:30p 3:40p Coaches will line up teams for parade in the following order: Beechwood, Bluegrass, Brookwood, Florence, Fort Thomas, Ludlow, Newport, Oakbrook, Taylor Mill and Five Seasons. 3:45p Parade of Champions begin 3:55 Hall of Fame presentation and Bresser Scholarship Award Meet will begin at 4:15p |
